When You Are Sitting in the Hospital…and Your File Is On Your Work Computer…Here Are Three Tools to Help

Cheree Cleghorn | April 27, 2010

A civil lawyer I know, facing what may be the biggest trial of his career, also had a mother who was receiving cancer treatment.

He sat in her hospital room with her and kept cranking out the research, which then turned into the biggest binders available to go with him and his co-counsel on the date of the first phase of this case.

How did he do it? We all wondered.

Millions of people do what he did, trying to keep work and hospital care in sync.

Now, maybe he had one of the three, fast, easy apps Fast Company is sharing with readers. Maybe not.

We would all be silly to ignore this advice. You want to know about these. If he has another secret, you will hear about it as soon as he tells me.

Fast Company

“You’re at home and want to edit a file that’s on your work computer. You’re on the family PC and want to see a photo you saved on your laptop. Most of us use several different computers on a day-to-day basis, but our files aren’t always where we are. Three products make sharing and syncing information across all the computers you use each day easy and free.”
