“10 Steps to Better Health Care”

Cheree Cleghorn | August 13, 2009

News/Commentary

Health care reform already is here, say four distinguished physician-researchers, and they have the proof in 10 places which have gone ahead and started.

These places are not waiting for the rest of us to catch up.

The authors name the towns and states which they studied which provide “rational” care, not “rationed” care.

These places do not claim to have all the answers.

They are not the Mayo Clinic.

But, in each case, a town or city shows how positive and popular changes are happening in the region where you live. The authors chose these places so as to provide a representative picture of the possibilities all across America.

What’s better for the patients who live in these 10 places?

Quality. And then cost.
