Health Central, a new, third entrant in the field of offering readers medical advice about routine matters, is adding well-known patient experts as bloggers on the site, a story in The Washington Post says.
In speaking of the difference between Health Central and other sites, the CEO of the company, Chris Schroeder, said,”For example, it has hired ‘patient experts’—-well-known advocates for people with certain ailments—-as bloggers to discuss such questions like: How do you find a babysitter who knows about juvenile diabetes? How should a husband care for a wife who has breast cancer?”
